Synopsis: The Photograph movie revolves around Rafi (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), a struggling photographer, who works day and night to repay his family’s debts. He works as a photographer on The Gateway Of India in Mumbai by clicking photos of the tourists.
One day Noorie (Sanya Malhotra) visits The Gateway Of India. Rafi makes a request for her to get the photos to click because he didn’t earn a single penny on that day. After clicking of photos, Miloni(Sanya Malhotra) rushes back to her mom who was calling out without giving a single penny to him.
He became puzzled and little tensed with her. On the same night, when he was going to his home with his friend. Everyone in the locality says that his grandmother has stopped taking the pills, the reason was that Rafi was not getting married. He writes a letter to her grandmother, that he has searched for a girl to get married. He advises her grandmother to start taking her medicines.
One day, Rafi gets a letter from his grandmother that she is soon coming to Mumbai to meet his fiance. So, Rafi makes a request to Miloni to become a fake girlfriend for him for a few days for his grandmother. Miloni agrees to him. After having the first meeting of Miloni with Rafi’s grandmother. They started to meet again and again on Rafi’s Grandmother’s request.
They somehow got attached to each other despite their different cultures because they started to hang out at different places. In the end, it has shown that they are watching a movie in the theatre. Miloni becomes feared as the rat passes through her feet. She steps out of the theatre and Rafi also followed her and steps out from the theatre too. They had a little talk with themselves and moved out of the cinema.
